Lately, I've been thinking lots of situations that has chaging my own point of view of some of the most precious things I have. Fears, friends, love and even faith. Just the right perfect moment when I found out Delain had released their new album this April called "The Human Contradiction".
I found on this album very much what I was looking for, and certeanly, in my opinion, this one has the must powerful sound of them all.

Can't explain what I felt when I firts heard this one as the album opening. For my own taste, this song really proves that Delain's sound has grown so great since their first album. You can clearly hear amazing symphonic sounds and choirs backgrounds that brings even more power to the song that it has itself. Delain's evolution in for sure, reflected in this song. What really surprised me were the lyrics theme. It's news to me listening to such a dark song and sweet at the same time, very dynamic.
This is a Masterpiece.

It's so glad for me to find out that amazing elements from previous albums are taking over in this record. The growls on "Tell Me, Mechanist" and in "The Tragerdy on the Comons" are mind blowing. The guests did an incredible job there and combined with Charlotte's voice, they make the song even more unique that ir already is. We can also hear very loud symphonic elements in songs like "Your Body is a Battleground" & "Sing to Me" (both with Marco's voice), and these two reflects that putting to rest symphonic elements are not in Delain's plans. These two have so much potencial to be singles and to have the resposability to be the album's face in international charts.

Songs like "My Masquerade" and "Stardust" are very catchy and the have that "We are the others" style, but comparing them with the others, they seem to be weaker. You have the same style on "Army of Dolls", but they add heavy riffs and sounds to make it much like the whole album and that's what make me love it. Even the ballad "Scarlet" is so different from the others and such sweet, it shouldn't be a bonus.
In my opinion, Stardust is not a good choice as a single, I get it's catchy, but I feel is not the best way to present a "heavy & symphonic album". Despite that, the video for the single is very good, I really liked the whole idea and the band looks fucking amazing.
Wheather side you see, This is the most dynamic album they have so far, and I just love it to death.
